［WP覚書］月および曜日を英語表記にする
小粋空間: WordPress の月および曜日を英語表記にする
今作成してるのがカフェっぽいデザイン重視のサイトなので、日本語より英語表記の方がいいかと。
この記事が書かれた時より、かなり時代は下ってるんですが（＾＾；
3.4.2でもlocale.phpの99-198行を上記ページの内容に差し替えて上書きすればOKでした。
もしかして、もう管理画面で曜日の設定変えられるようになったんじゃない！？と調べてみたのだがなかったです（涙）
付けて欲しい！
そして英語にすると曜日にカッコが付いてるのがヘンだったのではずしました。

てっきりそこで「月～日」の漢字表記が入っているものかと思ってましたが違うんですね。詳細はわかりませんが「translators: weekday」というのがミソのようですな。
